Affiliate, here's Psoriasis Report #4 - Biologics and Psoriasis

Affiliate,

Depending on the severity of your psoriasis, you may have considered, or discussed with your doctor, treating your psoriasis with one of the new biological drugs.

There are three that have been approved for treating psoriasis, Amevive, Raptiva, and the highly promoted, Enbrel.  Remicade has been approved for PA and will likely be approved soon for treating psoriasis.

All these are injected into the skin, once or twice a week, and cost approximately $2,000. a month.  Many insurance companies have been difficult to work with in getting approval for any of these treatments.

As with just about every psoriasis treatment, some people have achieved good clearing after 3-6 months, some have had no change, some have got worse, and some have had bad flares after stopping
treatment.

There are a number of significant risk factors and as these drugs are all new, the long-term side affects are unknown.  The length of treatment is also unknown.  Treatment may last forever, or until death do us part!

I would not even consider any of the biologicals until every other avenue had been tried.  These new drugs do not offer a cure and could lead to even more serious medical conditions, such as cancer.

Hopefully you have ordered my book by now, Say Goodbye to Psoriasis.  The treatment method that I developed produces amazing results, it works fast, and is the safest treatment available.

The only side effect is your psoriasis clearing!
